Yellowstone winter has pockets of light that just change and appear out of nowhere. Light comes and goes very quickly so no time for a lot of lens changes. I usually have 2 camera bodies on my at all times ready to shoot. One with a long lens and another wider angle lens that can handle a tighter scene like this. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
