The Best Morning

Landscape photography often requires a lot of planning. In the last 2 months I decided to go with NO PLAN in mind, just go. If I had done the research, before deciding to go, I would have learned the forest I was traveling too had burned down (a fews years back). If I had done the research I would have never shot this amazing morning. Miles and miles of chared trees with little life. This scene sits on the edge of the chard forest, pretty amazing. Early morning cool crisp air on my face, so quiet, only the sound of the water and the smell of pine in the air. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
