Last Call for color

Timing is everything! Texas swamps have a prime target week for the last of the red colors in the swamps. Still, Mother Nature will do what she wants so there is never a guarantee you will achieve what you have imagined. I lucked out this year and think I caught the small window of color. The week prior, rained with overcast skies and the week after, heavy winds set in and blew it all away. Sometimes the window of time is short for beautiful moments. Photo © copyright by Laurie R.
