A Night in the Badlands
New Mexico
I can honestly say this was one unnerving night out in the desert. Out shooting Hoodoos in the Badlands of New Mexico and enjoying photographing these interesting formations. It is always easy to hike in during the day but when you are out shooting sunsets and astro, your hike back is in the dark. The hike out of here was out through a dried up wash at night. If it were not for the dried up wash, I can see how easy it would be to get lost out here. All quiet accept for the Coyotes howling across the vast canyon land as we hike out.
