One of the coldest mornings I think I have ever been out shooting was here. Cold rain filled my jacket hood and I could not feel my hands. Out in front of me were sea lions playing in the cold surf. Large ice pieces wash to the shore and rest on the black sand. The contrast of the ice against the black sand is really beautiful. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
