One of the most beautiful hikes I have ever been on. I love a frozen landscape. Growing up in AZ with brutal hot summers (which I loved), snow was just a foreign thing. My father would occasionally toss us all in the car and take us up to Flagstaff or Prescott where we could play in the white stuff. It was just enough to be captivated by it.
