Canyon First Light
Arizona
The drive up to this view is a long steep winding road. I shot this in the month of October and temps were pretty cold. I got to the top and car camped with friends so that we could catch the first morning light in the canyon. Having to start the car several times throughout the night to get warm, the sleeping bag was just not warm enough. Got up early and hiking out in the dark we first photographed the moon over the canyon which was very cool. I will post that image in this gallery soon. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
