No matter the season, this special place always has a unique feel to it. Mixed emotions of my photography from here, never sure if I think it is a dreamy romantic scene or if it is a bit scary looking. It can feel both ways when you are out there. This image is shot at the top of the mountain and to catch the early fog, you have to start up early in the morning. The trail up can feel very spooky especially when it is windy. The wind blows through the old grove and makes a haunting creaking sound. Sometimes the fog is so thick my imagination runs wild and I fear a bear will emerge from the fog.
