Iceland
After hiking trails in Iceland, I have decided I never want to Glacier Walk. One particular trail I was on that went straight up the side of a massive glacier, displayed a permanent marker that noted the loss of two young men. They had been glacier walking when they fell between the cracks, never to be found.The marker showed the faces of 2 handsome vibrant young guys living life with big smiles. The image of those 2 young men has always stayed in my mind ever since I read that. This image is for them, a reminder that they are not forgotten. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
