A Mothers Love

A protective mother cow moose sits quietly with her new baby. These two blended perfectly into the natural forest and were hard to initially see. The baby stayed mostly behind its mother and I could only see the babies ears for a while. I had a brief moment when the baby lifted up some and I was fortunate enough to grab this shot. The baby went back down and that was it. Night fell and that would conclude this beautiful and rare opportunity. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
