Sunrise in Yellowstone National Park with the Bison

First Light

Yellowstone

The most special time of day in Yellowstone is early morning in January when temps are close to -5 degrees, How do the Bison do it? Hunker down in bunkers they create and brave the nights frigid temps. First morning light reveals the survival of a long cold night in Yellowstone. Just an incredible scene and hard to find the words to describe the feeling I have when I see this. I love the Bison in Yellowstone. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
