Bull Elk in Washington State

Taste of the Forest

Washington State

This is a place from my mothers home town in Washington State in the Olympic Rain Forest. Abundant with ferns, wildlife and a lush moss filled forest. This is probably one of the most peaceful places for me to be. I hiked this forest on a regular basis with my mom growing up. Mostly to pick Blackberries for pie, gathered in my grandpa's old paint buckets. It is awesome to return and to come across scenes like this, I feel my mom all around me when I am here. The smells of the forest and the sound under my feet when I hike brings me right back to berry picking with my mom. Seeing this beauty in the forest was just the way to end the perfect day.
