Iceland
The beautiful black beaches in Iceland really make the ice pop that washes up on the shoreline. This was one of the coldest shoots I have ever had, mainly due to my hood filling up with cold water. Pulled up my hood to hike out and all the water in my hood went straight down my back. Hopeful to get to my very small rental to grab a hot shower after a VERY COLD day of shooting to have NO HOT WATER. Always an adventure. Same night I woke up to sheep outside my door. These are the things I love, challenges, not the norm, working through things and getting a positive outcome. May sound like a complaint but these are the things that make the stories that create the memories. Photo © copyright by Laurie R. Martin.
