The Beauty of the Bison
Yellowstone National Park
I love a the Bison in Yellowstone. In this image I managed to get in front of a full on Bison charge. We had been watching them and a friend of mine said, "I think they are going to turn around and come back this way". We hurried to get out of the way and get out further in front of them only in time to catch them in a full on sprint towards us. Beautiful to see them sprinting through the snow with snow flying off the feet. Rule of thumb is always no less than 2 bus lengths away.
